Tour of easy difficulty, which can also be undertaken by children with a basic level of fitness.
The Römerweg circuit starts at Going Tourist Information Office and is also suitable for children with a basic level of fitness. Cycle as far as the Raiffeisen Bank, cross the underpass on the left and turn right onto the Pramaweg. This takes you past well-kept meadows to Going bathing lake, a good place to cool down. Cycle past the bathing lake and the road leads to the Hechenberger farm where you go straight on, following the signs to St. Johann. The cycle trail now leads through the Moor & More, a delightful renaturalised moorland landscape, to the Römerhof inn - the ideal place for a rest. Now keep to the right following the signs to Rettenbach/Weitau. In the hamlet of Weitau you’ll find the Agricultural College which was used in the TV series “Der Bergdoktor” as Lilli's school. The e-bike circular tour now takes you over the bridge to Sperten, then on into the small village of Oberndorf and via Lindern on towards Reisch/Going. A gravel path now takes you to the minor road where you turn right and past the football pitch and to the Stanglwirt hotel. Here you head right along the Auweg by the side of the stream till you cross the fire station car park on the right and cycle back to the starting point.
